Balanced formulations are injected in an aqueous solution into the soil where the roots are actively growing. Our slow release formulations contain Macro & Micro nutrients, beneficial bacteria and fungi that support a healthy, thriving soil web. These formulations are a benefit to all of your plant material, not just your trees!
We use OMRI certified products where possible and full organic programs are available.
Soil Food Web
At Atlanta Tree Preservation we are all about the soil, yes you read that right!
80% of above ground issues are directly related to the soil. If we can correct these issues than many issues will take care of themselves. These services include decompaction, tilling, radial trenching, soil replacement, amendments, bio-char, introduction of earthworms, beneficial microbes and fungi to mane a few.
Mulching, in the correct manner, with the correct products supports and encourages soil life.
Pest & Disease Identification & Management
Establishing a pest and disease protocol has three major components: Identification, Control Measures & Timing.
Our President has over 20 years of experience of developing and managing such protocols in Metro Atlanta & the South East.

Construction Mitigation
Aboricultural Prescriptions & Imlementation
Construction can involve heavy equipment, excessive foot traffic, root disturbance, soil compaction and physical damage. All of which can have a deleterious effect on your trees.
Atlanta Tree Preservation can work directly with developers designing and implementing Tree Prescriptions. Ensuring code compliance and limiting disturbance from the onset of the project.
Or, with home owners after the project is completed to address any concerns and to help establish new plantings on site.
Trees are big, they take a long time to grow and it can take up to five years for the effects of construction damage to become visibly evident. If you have purchased a new property and would like your trees assessed feel free to give us a call.
Risk Analysis
Our Risk Analysis consists of two parts, a visual tree assessment and testing with a Resistograph. The visual assessment looks for defects, disturbance and diseases that are visually evident. While the Resistograph is used to measure sound wood thickness and hollow areas. A strength loss % is calculated for the area tested. It is test for structural strength and not a measure of health.
All trees have an inherent level of risk but how much risk is acceptable!
